INDIVIDUAL FLAIR
When we are young, they supposedly claim, "We know nothing." I would die to disprove this notion.
The celebration of children's rights on World Children's Day gives each of us a motivational starting point for activities and conversations that will improve the world for children.
Making World Children's Day relevant for their cultures, communities, and countries can involve parents, teachers, nurses, and medical professionals, as well as government officials and civil society activists, religious leaders, community elders, business titans, and media moguls.
The SSG officers of Ilocos Sur National High School held their program for the festival of talents, which was called Estudyantrepreneur 2023. This festival's specific goal is to give students a platform to showcase their abilities in a variety of areas.
In support of this program, myself and the other students traveled to the event according to our schedule. I went to the industrial arts exhibit in particular because I'm usually interested in the furnishings and inventions there. Additionally, I've always had a soft spot for home economics, so I kind of focused on those topics with their food preparation, textiles, and clothing. Overall, I adore the way the booths showcased various things, with a focus primarily on food.
I've learned from this experience that it can sometimes be beneficial to share your enthusiasm with others. Even if you create something fantastic, it won't matter if you lack the confidence to share it with everyone. Everyone has their own brilliance within them, and you have your own kind of individuality.
By just allowing myself to speak for what I am capable of, I can put these ideas into practice in my daily life. I won't be in fear to publicly demonstrate what I love to do or worry that no one will be interested, because it is enough that I have my own to rely on.
We, as students, have the right to be free with our talents, as our talents would speak for their right to be seen.
